GIMP tutorial – Make a photo look 100 years old (Sepia effect)

In this tutorial a portrait of President Obama wil be turned into a portrait that looks like it’s been taken a century ago. I’ll be using a script to render old rusted paper and sepia techniques to make the photo look old.

The image used I got from this website where you can find all info about it too.

The script is by kward1979uk.

Watch my video on layer effects in GIMP to find out how to put scripts into gimp:

In this GIMP tutorial I’ll be showing you how to use the scissors select tool in GIMP to cut out an image from its background, or in other words, how to make a render using the scissors select tool in GIMP 2.6.

The image used I got from this website where you can find all info about it too.

The long awaited tutorial.. My fault for not making one last week, I had to reinstall EVERYTHING on my hard drive due to my mac’s partition software being finicky… I have no idea whatsoever why the video quality is so under par, I was recording in HD, apparently my screen capture program is incredibly terrible and more trouble then it’s worth.
Anyway, I’m tired, and heres my relatively mediocre tutorial. My photoshop tutorial I have planned is pretty good, I think.
