GIMP Tutorial: How to Design a Web Icon in GIMP 2.10 (2018)

In this GIMP 2.10 tutorial, I show you how to design a flat web icon for use on websites (for web designers) or anywhere you wish to use an icon! I’ll show you how to make the icon design from scratch, including designing the circle, phone, and shadow. I’ll also show you how to be able to create additional colors, and how to export the icon with or without a background with optimal settings for the web.

This tutorial is for beginners but is great for all skill levels. I use GIMP 2.10.0-RC1 (Release Candidate 1) for this tutorial, but you can follow along with older version of GIMP (i.e. GIMP 2.8.22) or with newer version of GIMP.

Photoshop | How to REMOVE HOT SPOTS and FIX OILY SKIN

In this retouching tutorial we will see how to fix those really bright hot spots which can appear due to flash, studio lights or sunlight.

Also sometimes it can make skin appear lot more oily than it actually is. So by following this simple two step process you can fix hot spots and oily skin both in photoshop.

You have to understand this just one step of retouching portrait in photoshop, so final output might not seem that great. And its completely fine.

Once this process is done, you have to do lot more steps to create those professional looking portraits, so don’t stress if your final output after editing does not look publish worthy πŸ™‚ it will look a lot better than original though.

I hope you learn something from this video, have a good day πŸ™‚
