In this GIMP 2.10.8 tutorial, I show you how to create a clipping mask – known as the Layer Group Mask in GIMP. This is a popular technique found in Photoshop, although you no longer need Photoshop thanks to this great, free photo editor. I define what a clipping mask is, how to apply it to a composition with multiple photos, and how to customize it by toggling it on and off (disable layer mask), deleting it, etc.
