In this GIMP 2.10 tutorial, I show you how to create a 3D Isometric Map design using a landscape photo (you can use any aerial photo, including a photo from Google Earth, a stock photo, or one you took yourself). I use an isometric grid to place various photos in a 3D perspective environment, creating the illusion of a 3D cube containing a chunk of earth.
