Line Art Drawing Reveal GIMP Photo Manipulation
In this GIMP photo manipulation tutorial, I show you a surprisingly easy method for creating line art from a photo, then revealing that line art behind your original photo using a paint stroke for a cool mixed-media final result. I’ll be using a Wacom tablet for this tutorial, though you can follow along with a mouse, and will also show you how to color in your drawing using the Fill by Line Art Detection feature with the Bucket Fill tool.
If you are not an artist, cartoonist, or illustrator, you’ll still be able to create this composition! I have made it easy for beginners to follow, showing each step and explaining everything I am doing. I use GIMP 2.10.14 in this tutorial, which is the latest version at the time of this tutorial.
