How to Split Images for Instagram Grid in GIMP

In this GIMP 2.10.14 tutorial, I show you how to split or “slice” an image into multiple images for your Instagram grid. This allows you to upload multiple images to Instagram and have them appear to be a continuation on your grid – thus creating a really cool effect!

This is a very simple process that only takes a couple of steps. I show you how to crop your image to a 4:5 aspect ratio – the preferred aspect ratio for Instagram. Plus, I show you how to divide your image up into a 3×3 grid and a 3×1 grid (in other words, I show you two different methods).

This is a beginner friendly tutorial.
