In this GIMP vs Photoshop comparison, I show you how to edit a photo using a simply, beginner-friendly 5 step editing process to demonstrate the similarities and differences between the programs. I show you how to edit the levels of your photo, including adjusting brightness and color balance, adjust the hue and saturation, sharpen your photo, add a vignette, and export your images. Both programs produce a high-quality result – the main difference being that GIMP is totally free.
I’ll be using GIMP 2.10.18 and Photoshop CC 2020 for this comparison.
