Custom Minecraft Where to Find and Edit pack.mcmeta and pack.png Texture Pack Download Java

To build a Minecraft Custom Resource Pack or Texture Pack you need the pack.mcmeta and pack.png files. I show you how to download and use those two needed resource pack files.

01:22 Open a File window and type %appdata% in the address bar
01:35 Go into the .minecraft folder and scroll down to versions
01:46 Find your version
01:57 Copy the .jar file to a new folder on your computer
02:39 Change the .jar to .zip by typing over it
02:51 Open the file with Windows zip
03:03 Scroll down to find pack.mcmeta and pack.png
