Create a Low Poly Portrait in GIMP | Super Easy Technique

In this GIMP tutorial I show you how to convert any portrait to a low poly portrait. Use a built-in filter to create geometric or low poly portrait images in a few simple steps. I also show you how to easily remove a background using the foreground select tool. This technique is great for beginners looking to make awesome photo manipulations.

How to Make a Soft Vignette in Any Shape Using Photoshop Elements 2021 2020

In this tutorial I show you how to create a Soft Edge Vignette using Photoshop Elements in any shape you want. This is a great way to break out of using just elliptical vignettes and add more interest to a photo project.

00:58 Center the Portrait
01:08 Planning to extend background
01:27 Duplicate background to fill in missing image area
01:54 Merge two image layers together
02:07 Use Clone Stamp Tool to clean up image
03:46 Be careful around the head
05:20 Use the Custom Shape Tool to add a shape to the image
06:06 Set Opacity to 50% to position shape
06:18 ctrl click shape thumbnail to make selection
06:29 Move to image layer, hit Layer Mask button
06:40 Change the background
07:10 Use Gaussian Blur Filter to soften edge of layer mask
07:42 This will work with any shape
