GIMP has a hidden shape tool that allows you to quickly and easily draw a variety of polygons and complex shapes. I cover how to use this filter in this tutorial, and also show you how to convert your shapes to scalable paths – essentially making it possible to draw vector shapes and polygons in GIMP. You can draw hexagons, pentagons, stars, arcs, curves, and straight lines with this built-in GIMP feature.
GIMP is a free photo editor that also has some great graphic design features. I use GIMP 2.10.24 for this tutorial, which is the latest version of GIMP at the time of this tutorial.
