In this photo manipulation tutorial, I show you how to use your image’s background as a seamless repeating pattern! This is a really cool technique to help you create Instagram photos or YouTube thumbails. I show you how to add the seamless repeating background behind your original model in your photo and have it look natural. Because you’re using the original image background, your model will blend right in with minimal adjustments!
I use GIMP for this tutorial – the free photo editor most similar to Photoshop. I also use the free Resynthesizer plugin to create the effects shown in the video.
