Ocean-Inspired Illustrations for #CreateWaves with Wooden Wave Art – 1 of 2

Tune in with husband-and-wife art duo Matthew and Roxanne Ortiz of Wooden Wave Art as they work on an Ocean-inspired piece in honor of the #CreateWaves – a campaign using creativity to help raise awareness about the critical impacts of climate change on our ocean and planet – using Adobe Fresco and Photoshop. Watch as they take you through their process, from sketch to line work, working with negative space, and adding color for your final image. Wooden Wave Art will be creating a playful graphic-focused piece, inspired by M.C. Escher, around the endangered Whale Shark. Join in on the conversation around Ocean preservation, the importance of combining art and science, and telling stories through your art!
