• Responding to a participant’s input is vital. By listening and reacting, you build trust and encourage them to interact with the rest of your AR experience.
• Hit areas must be large enough to be tapped easily and have enough space around it, so you don’t accidentally tap something else.
• Using a participant’s pre-existing knowledge is an easy way to make your experience more intuitive.
• If an interaction is essential, make sure that it is discoverable by creating multiple triggers.
• PROXIMITY TRIGGERS and ORBIT ACTIONS are two powerful ways to leverage the space around a participant’s body.
• By using a blend of essential and optional interactions, you can create interactive depth. This gives authenticity to the world you are building and encourages exploration.
