What’s New in GIMP 2.99.8 Development Release Version

In this tutorial, originally released in October 2021 on DMD Premium (now unlocked), I discuss the latest features and news that were released with GIMP 2.99.8. This development release version is one of the stepping stones on the way to GIMP 3.0.

New features include “Sample Merged” for the heal and clone tools, improved compatibility with drawing tablets and input devices, plus lots of process improvements to help speed up the development of GIMP.
