In this tutorial I show you how to quickly and effectively REMOVE image backgrounds using a combination of free AI tools and GIMP. The result allows you to fully remove backgrounds on high definition images without needing to pay for the premium version of Clipdrop – an AI tool by Stability.ai.
Most AI background removers charge a fee for background removal on a full-sized HD image, but by using this method along with GIMP you can get the same results for FREE on a full resolution image.
Clipdrop is owned by a company called Init ML, which was acquired by Stability.ai (the artificial intelligence company that owns and runs Stable Diffusion).
