Non-destructive editing is finally here in GIMP! Check out this first look, which demonstrates how you can now add photo edits or effects to an image/layer in GIMP without affecting the original pixels of the image/layer. In other words, you can go back at ANY time any edit the effect you applied to your image. This feature has been long-requested and has been available in other software like Affinity Photo and Photoshop for years.
