In this GIMP basics tutorial, I show you how to fix the common issue of having your GIMP toolbox missing. This is typically an issue caused by accidentally closing out the GIMP toolbox (or any dockable dialogue) when in multi-window mode (most common in version of GIMP older than GIMP 2.10) or when you undock a dockable dialogue and accidentally close it out.
However, this issue can also just be a glitch in your GIMP – causing your Toolbox or any other dockable dialogue to not open on start up.
Regardless of how your issue has arisen, I show you how to solve it in this quick and simple tutorial for beginners (or anyone having the issue).
