Floating Nike Air Jordan 1’s GIMP Photo Manipulation Tutorial

In this GIMP Photo Manipulation tutorial I show you how to erase someone from a photo and replace objects in the background to create a floating shoes effect (in this case the Air Jordan 1 Court Purple shoes). This is a really cool effect that can make shoes look magic, or can be a great way to showcase products in a unique way.

I use the Resynthesizer plugin for this tutorial, as well as the heal and clone tools. I also show you how to use layers, layer masks, paths, and selections. Beginners are welcome, though I cover plenty of advanced concepts for this tutorial!
